• Co-founder and Operations Officer 

Since 2007, Makhado has worked in the mental health sector, specialising in secure services, residential care, and Crisis team management. He holds a degree as an Assistant Practitioner, which provides him with knowledge of the Mental Health Act, governance, and compliance. In addition, Makhado has spent time in the Section 136 suite, collaborating with stakeholders and licensed practitioners to organise emergency care for service users. He has expertise in managing challenging behaviours and is devoted to establishing a therapeutic atmosphere for both staff and service users. Makhado is a staunch advocate for person-centered care and is passionate about assisting individuals to reach their maximum potential in a safe and secure setting. 

• Co-founder and Chief Strategic Officer

Kagiso possesses an Honours degree in Business Management, Marketing, and Communications and a Master's degree in Digital Business. He has a deep understanding of the psychiatric industry, it's stakeholders, and the market needs, with a professional background in healthcare covering 16 years obtained across multiple settings such as acute wards, crisis management, CAMHS, and medium secure services in the public, private, and agency sectors. His entrepreneurial character has enabled him to contribute to new business developments and the building of a successful e-commerce business. 

• Registered Manager

A highly accomplished healthcare professional, Marge has spent nearly two decades in mental health, acute, and secure services. Qualifying as a Learning Disabilities Nurse in 2006, she has built an extensive career managing complex care environments, with a strong track record in governance, workforce development, and regulatory compliance.

Prior joining Tera Healthcare, Marge served as a CQC-registered manager at one of Norfolk’s largest domiciliary care agencies, successfully leading operational compliance, service optimisation, and quality assurance. Her expertise in leadership, strategic planning, and risk management significantly enhances Tera Healthcare’s ability to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
